Built for island weather

One island, five climates

Victoria gets about 630 mm of rain a year. Port Renfrew gets more than 3,600. We spec each roof for where it actually sits.

Underlayment first

Full synthetic underlayment, plus ice-and-water membrane in valleys and at eaves on wetter sites.

High-wind nailing

Six-nail patterns and sealed starter courses for waterfront and west-coast exposures.

Moss control

Zinc ridge strips and algae-resistant shingles under the cedars and firs that shade most lots.

Balanced ventilation

Matched soffit intake and ridge exhaust keep damp winter air from rotting the deck.

Questions

Straight answers

Something else on your mind? Call or text Mostafa at 250-555-0187.

Can you re-roof during the rainy season?

Yes. We book tear-offs into dry-weather windows and open only as much roof as we can dry in the same day. Every open section is tarped overnight.

How long does a re-roof take?

Most single-family homes take one to three working days. Steeper, larger, cedar and metal roofs take longer, and your quote states the schedule.

Do I need a building permit?

A like-for-like re-roof usually doesn't, but rules vary by municipality and change when structure or roof shape changes. We check before work starts.

Should I pressure-wash moss off my roof?

No. Pressure washing strips the protective granules and drives water under the shingles. We remove moss by hand, treat it, and add zinc strips to slow regrowth.

Will you work with my insurance company?

Yes. For storm or leak damage we provide a photo inspection report and a line-item estimate you can send to your adjuster.

What warranty do I get?

The manufacturer's material warranty plus Eagle View's own written workmanship warranty. The terms are in your quote before you sign.
